Hello, Just wanted to show some of the things I have been working on. I have a craft fair coming up May 5th and 6th. The Florissant Valley of Flowers Craft Fair is at the James Egan Center on Friday from noon to nine and on Saturday from nine to six. Hope to see you there.
Sorry about the poor quality of the picts.
The stamping is not blurry,
just me not being able to keep the phone steady. : (
This is a vintage Shadow box with clock parts and gears added in to give it a bit of a steampunk edge.
The background paper is the Letters from Home paper pad by DCWV. The gears are from Bead landing's found objects, the larger gears are actual clock works and you will also fine a brass handle and small light bulbs.
The flowers are all created from old book pages. The centers are either vintage buttons or beads.
The focal image is a retro note card promotional item from Virginia Slims.
I used a bit of paper to block off part of the saying and highlighted the phrase "An Ideal Wife" with a crystal drop.
This Card was created using the Stampin' Up! Lift Me Up Bundle which includes the hot air ballon stamps and the thinlets. The Tickets are from a retired stamp set. The cloud embossing folder is also retired.
I love this hot air balloon set so you will be seeing more items made that include this.
I used the small balloon stamp on the inside as well as some cloud stamps that come with the set and the Hope your day is on cloud nine. I used my marker to ink up only the words that I wanted. The stamp has Happy Birthday below the cloud nine saying.
